Kindergarten Readiness Grant

Supports libraries in getting more Idaho preschool-aged children ready for kindergarten. Two grant types available: Kindergarten Readiness Standard Grant (up to $10,000) for new projects, and K Ready-Set-Go Minigrant ($500-$5,000) for continuation projects or best practices models. Grant period: September 1, 2026 – June 10, 2027. Projects must increase early learning experiences, expand library access for underserved preschool children and families, engage families in early literacy, and advance third-grade reading proficiency.
