The Firefighter Joint Apprenticeship Program PY 22-23 grant aims to fund an organization that possesses the knowledge, expertise, and authority to expand or develop up to five apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship training programs which incorporates data-proven strategies to recruit, train, and employ firefighters and paramedics. The successful project will serve 270 to 500 participants, coordinate with the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Intermediary awardee to establish a talent pipeline for more advanced healthcare careers, and recruit graduates of the forthcoming EMS Corps program. Proposals must be received by 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2023. An informational webinar will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 10 a.m. Pre-registration is required.
