Traditional Arts Apprenticeships

Supports folk art masters who pass knowledge and skills on to apprentices. Annual grant supporting a learning partnership between a recognized mentor artist and one or more qualified apprentices to continue artistic traditions of shared cultural heritage. Apprenticeship length must not exceed ten months and must include a public presentation or demonstration. Funds are disbursed to the mentor artist.
