Urban Trees

Funds efforts that plant trees in Maryland's identified urban and underserved communities. Funds small tree planting projects (up to $10,000) in urban, underserved areas across Maryland with low median household income, high unemployment, and historically redlined neighborhoods. Part of Maryland's commitment to plant 5,000,000 native trees by 2031. Match is encouraged but not required. Applications accepted on rolling basis until funds are fully expended for the fiscal year.
