Family Defense Quality Improvement & Caseload Reduction Grants

Competitive grants awarded to New York counties and New York City to improve the quality of representation provided to parents accused of child abuse or neglect who cannot afford to retain counsel. Funding may be used to reduce attorney caseloads, increase access to specialized services, and/or represent parents during child welfare investigations.
