Tobacco Enforcement Section Stop Tobacco Access to Kids Enforcement (STAKE) Grant Program 2021-2022

Activities covered under this grant may include training both law enforcement personnel, community members, school districts, youth organizations and/or tobacco retailers on youth-related tobacco laws; purchasing equipment and/or training materials needed for the training and/or enforcement of state and local tobacco laws. Examples of equipment and training materials may include surveillance equipment, cameras, signage, pamphlets and/or the leasing of vehicles. Additionally, awarded funding can be used to hire additional personnel to increase enforcement efforts/activities aimed at curtailing and reducing illegal sales of tobacco products to youth under the age of 21.
