This NOFO will support the implementation of new, and enhance existing, family-based alternative sentencing programs for parents/primary caregivers who are involved in or at risk for becoming involved in the criminal justice system. Through pre-arrest and pre-sentencing alternatives, these programs focus on rehabilitation, family unification, and family preservation.
