Under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Stimulus (CARES) Act enacted March 27, 2020, the California Department of Housing and Community Development (Department) will receive funding from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the amount of approximately $42 million in federal funds for the Emergency Solutions Grants Program (ESG).
